Whats your favourite cheat food & why? I don’t agree with the term ‘cheat food’or ‘cheat meal’ as I think personally it promotes an unhealthy relationship with food and can have negative connotations. People should eat what they enjoy, but be aware of their energy balance and TDEE in order to keep a healthy fat to lean tissue ratio.But I do love a good PIZZA!
How did you fall in love with fitness? I had no option, was in the military, we got smashed ALOT by the PTI’s and I thought ‘if you can’t beat em join em ;-)’ Ha ha.I also love the way it makes me feel, I have stacks more energy, feel more positive about my outlook on life; and who doesn’t like being able to wear sportswear all day?
Why do you do what you do as a Boot Camp Instructor? I like to educate people and I also love to see the positive changes a healthy and more active lifestyle can have on people.
Whats your favourite kind of exercise? I love Olympic weight lifting movements (Although I’m really rusty and out of practise).I also love a good old bodyweight circuit smash.
What would be some encouraging words you’d tell someone who wants to start their own fitness journey but is a little worried? Apprehension and doubt has killed more dreams that failure ever will!Don’t be afraid to start something because you’re scared you will fail at it..failure is how we learn and how we grow.You don’t need to be the quickest, you don’t need to be the strongest; you just need the willingness to try, and the desire to keep moving forwards
Why do you believe Boot It is the best bootcamp in the World? If i didn’t believe that I wouldn’t be working here!
